Intel 80C188 with coprocessor

Does anyone know how to connect the 8087 numerical co-processor to the embedded CPU 80C188 or 80C186?
I spent a lot of time searching the net and found very little about 80C188 and nothing about a possible connection to 80C87. :(

The connection between 80C188/80186 and 8087 is possible via a special interface circuit 82188. I've never seen the 82188. I only know him from a small photo. Many years ago I had a message that this chip actually existed, but was only available to military customers. There is an application note (AN-258) from Intel that describes how to connect the 82188. I think this is obsolete today and could be replaced by FPGA. Here is drawing from the Intel AN-258:
