library for HD44780

Hi, I am looking for library allowing to program from PIC MCU an 1x 40 LCD with HD44780. On the net are mostly libraries for 16x2 or 16x1 or so, but not for 1x40 
board about electronic hardware, digital, analog circuits and programming
