BIOS for vintage 3COM LAN adapter

I have a vintage 3COM LAN adapter for 16 bit ISA. The adapter has a DIP socket for BIOS. My idea is to get a BIOS, place it into EPROM or Flash to this socket and start the PC from this BIOS...
Unfortunately, I don't know where to get the BIOS

there is an universal bios. have you tried that?

I think, the universal bios supports only 8-bit CPU.
